A Momentous Milestone

February 15, 2024, marked a historic moment for ReelFruit as we proudly cut the ribbon on our cutting-edge Dried Fruit processing facility located in the heart of Abeokuta, Ogun State, Nigeria. It was a day of immense pride, not just for our company, but for the entire Agricultural landscape of Nigeria.

This monumental occasion signaled a giant leap forward for ReelFruit, propelling us into a new era of production capabilities. Our brand new factory boasts an impressive annual capacity of 800 metric tons, a stark contrast to our previous output of a mere 7 metric tons per month at our factory in Lagos. This journey is a testament to our unwavering commitment to elevate Nigeria's standing in the global dried fruit market.

The factory launch has not only caused an increase in our production capabilities, but has also strengthened our commitment to serving our customers with unparalleled excellence. With the increased capacity of our facility, we've been able to ensure greater availability of our products, meeting the demands of our loyal customers more efficiently than ever before. Moreover, our expansion allows us to reach previously untapped markets and extend our product offerings to a wider audience.

The commissioning ceremony was a spectacle to behold, drawing in a diverse array of dignitaries and stakeholders who shared in our excitement and anticipation for what this transformative project represents.

Since the official launch, the operational landscape of our factory has undergone a remarkable transformation. In the first quarter of full-scale operations, we engaged 323 factory-based part-time employees, with a notable emphasis on youth employment, with 85.1% of our workforce aged between 15 and 29. Additionally, our commitment to gender diversity is evident, with 63.5% of our employees being female. This staffing approach not only underscores our dedication to social responsibility but also aligns perfectly with our vision of fostering an inclusive and progressive workplace culture.

The commissioning of our Abeokuta factory signifies more than just the opening of a new facility; it is a symbol of progress and potential for Nigeria's Dried Fruit Industry. It is a testament to what can be achieved through visionary leadership, innovative practices, and a deep-rooted commitment to community and national development.

As we embark on this new chapter, our influence is poised to extend far beyond mere production figures. We are shaping the future of agriculture and manufacturing in Nigeria, setting new benchmarks for success in the sector, and paving the way for a brighter, more prosperous future.
